I started playing piano when I was 7 years old. I had the privilege to study music at the cradle of Jazz, New Orleans where I attended the University of New Orleans. In the Crescent City I studied jazz improvisation with world renowned Jazz artist and Film Composer, Mr Terence Blanchard. I later moved to Miami to continue my music studies at the University of Miami where I graduated with a Master in Music in 2007. At UM I studied Arranging and Orchestration with Mr. Gary Lindsey. I later focused my studies in orchestration and composition and recieved a specialist certificate in Orchestration for Film and TV from Berklee College of Music.
I have done extensive work as an arranger in different music projects which showcase many world class jazz artists such as: Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Cecile McLorin Salvant, Dave Samuels, Diego Urcola, Ed Calle, Federico Britos and many others. I have scored and produced in my personal studio the music for different independent films such as "Something Beautiful" (2012), "The Space Between" (2014), and "Star Child" (2015) which in 2016 won "Best Original Score" at the Tampa Underground Film Festival and Bronze Medal under the category of Music for Film and TV at the Global Music Awards. Most recently, I scored the music for "Poneloya", a Horror feature Film by Director Tommy Demos and Producer Marvin Aguado.
